Hourani advises on Officine Nicola Galperti e Figlio SPA’s acquisition of Precision Forgings
Hourani & Partners advised Officine Nicola Galperti e Figlio S.p.A (Galperti) in its 100% acquisition of Precision Forgings, a subsidiary of the Al Suweidi Group.
Galperti, based in Italy, is renowned for its expertise in manufacturing flanges and other steel forgings for the Oil & Gas industry, acquired 100% of Precision Forgings in the deal.
Precision Forgings is the largest producer of steel forgings in Saudi Arabia maintain an installed forging capacity of 7,000 tons.
This strategic acquisition strengthens Galperti foothold in the region, and also lays the groundwork for future investments in capacity expansion and product diversification.
The transaction was led by Partner, Edoardo Betto*, with support from team members Khalid Alhamdan* and Sophia Niazi, who played instrumental roles in navigating the licensing process and completing antitrust procedures with the General Authority for Competition (GAC).
