Hourani launches Legal Insights Series for DWTC Business Community

Last week, we proudly hosted the inaugural session of our Hourani Legal Insights Series at our offices in One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

The event featured two highly engaging sessions tailored for businesses operating in the UAE:

• Corporate Tax Regulations, led by Zain Satardien, Partner, Head of Tax & International Trade, explored the key aspects of the UAE’s corporate tax framework. Attendees walked away with a clearer understanding of the applicability of corporate tax, cross-border considerations for tax-efficient structuring, key exemptions and reliefs, free zone tax treatment, and insights into future enforcement trends.
• Employment Law and Workforce Regulations, delivered by Reef Hourani, Senior Associate, provided a practical guide and insights into the UAE Labor Law, covering critical issues such as employment contracts, overtime provisions, employee benefits and rights, dispute resolution mechanisms, Emiratization, and compliance pitfalls businesses need to watch out for.
