Hayel is a US trained and qualified attorney who advises local and foreign clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. Hayel’s prominent client base includes a balance of insurance and reinsurance companies, private equity firms, hotel and resort owners, issuers, underwriters, funds and fund managers, debtors, and purchasers and sellers.

Over his career Hayel has advised on significant merger, capital market, and securities transactions in both private and public markets in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. In particular, Hayel has been at the forefront of the insurance company merger wave shaping listed insurance companies in Saudi Arabia where he successfully led a team of attorneys on the Metlife/Walaa merger, the Gulf Union/Alahlia merger and the Aljazira Takaful/Solidarity merger transactions.
